Getting in the mood...A Smile List

• Walking in to stores and seeing decorations and holiday items up for sale.
• After two weeks of the flu and pink eye, Fritz included, finally feeling a bit 'normal'.
• Waiting with crazy anticipation for the first snow. *A few minutes of flakes this morning, but nothing note-worthy*
• Cinnamon-apple smelling candles.
• Crock pot cooking.
• Gloomy gray skies after so much sun.
• Knowing that 2010 is almost over (the hardest year of my life so far) and 2011 is just around the corner, waiting to be a great year.
• Getting in the holiday mood with Christmas music and hot cocoa. *I know I have a box of old candy canes some where... mmmm...crushed up in hot cocoa-nothing beats that!

It's the simple things...

That can bring a smile to my face. The September issue of Vogue (fashion bible!!!). And a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Ahhh, makes that rainy day extra special.

I realized I hadn't done a Makes Me Smile List for this month. So here goes!

• Grown-up furniture. I'm so smiling everyday when I look at my hutch with my (obsession?) of pretty glass.
• Cuddling with my kitties.
• A FREE trip that was booked for me today. Love you J, and thanks!!!
• Knowing that the Fall season is just around the corner.

A Few Things To Make Me Smile

Taza from Rockstar Diaries has wonderful lists from herself and friends of ten things that make them terribly happy. These lists are so enjoyable to read of the random bits of life that can make a person smile. And Carmen from About a girl... posted a 'things she is loving now' list a few days ago, so it got me thinking. What are the things that make me smile right now? Here are a few that I am loving...
