Off with the Hair!

I have issues with my hair. I love it. I hate it. It makes me cranky, happy, annoyed and sad. But it's mine. It has a terrible mind of it's own and only allows me control once in a great blue moon. The last time I had it "done" was May of 2008. Yeah, an extremely loooonnng time ago. However, one of the good things about it is I don't have to worry too much about the nastiness at the end. I can go well over a year with out cutting before it gets too dry and brittle.
----------------------
Last night was one of those nights when I just couldn't take it anymore. Fritz would get his little fingers wrapped around a strand and pull with all of his little guy might. Ouch!! My hair had gotten so long that it was almost to the point of getting stuck in my armpits. Been there done that in 2002...not so good. So I told the Hubs to get his hair cuttin' scissors (he does his own) and whack off a few inches. Thinking that 3 or 4 would do well enough. I should have known better and NOT repeated my mistake from a vacation a couple of years ago when the Hubs got a hold of my hair with scissors then.
---------------------
So instead of my asking for just a few short inches.... hmmm... maybe 7 or 8 came off! I think the Hubs had too much fun. "Besides," he said, "I love your hair short!"
-------------------
Yep, should of known better. But, I have to admit, it does feel great to get those hair pounds taken off. Now I just need to adjust the color.

Rosemary Bread and French Fries

A couple of weeks ago in the mail, I received a card from a local restaurant saying to come on in for a meal on them for my birthday. How awesome is that!? It was from a place that the Hubs and I rarely go to so a good change for us. We have been there once or twice as it was only half a block away from my old work place and they have an awesome outdoor section for the warmer days. The card was only good for your birthday month and with two days left to go we didn't want to let it go to waste!
----------------
Also on the card was for a free loaf of bread, sweet treat or slice of pizza from a local bakery that is sooooo yummy-filled with all of their baked goodies. Yippee for us! What a good day out and half of it was free!

I had to have the Rosemary bread. I have been craving spaghetti so this is perfect for a good dinner. And the smell is so earthy and herb-y, I am salivating just thinking about it sitting on the counter. Hmmm... I might have to sneak a piece.

Warning... Cell phone picture. NOT GOOD! (I forgot the camera once again on our outings)
--------------
Fritz was being so good during our lunch date, never screaming or crying, just playing with his toys that I brought him and his binky. He watched us eat with much patience so as a reward I scraped off all the salt on a fry from my plate and gave him his very first one ever to see what he would do. He gobbled up three of them!

Sundays with Fritz-The Case of the Short Cowboy

These are my cowboy boots, ain't they cool lookin'?? I know, sweet right? My Grandmee and Grandpee bought them for me a long time ago, but never got to see me in them. G & G had been gone for over a month so when they came to visit I was really excited. When Grandmee was changing my poopy pants she looked over on my dresser and saw the boots she got me (pic below). She told my Mom that she had never seen me wear them before. So my Mom told her that she wanted to take my picture with them on. How cute was I gonna look!

So off came all the clothes I had on 'cause Mom said something about how funny would it be if I was just in my diaper with the boots on. Isn't there some naked cowboy dude in New York? I don't like to be a copy cat, but what the hay! You only live once right? Although now looking back maybe I shouldn't have let Mom take my pic dressed as I was. I mean how many times is she going to bring that one out to embarrass me??

But I have to say, I think I look pretty damn cute. I even got to wear my Daddy's hat too!

Y'all have an extra special week!

Random Irritations

I have done the Random Facts (nice ones) in a previous post, but now I thought it would be time to spill some of the beans on the not so (nice ones). How fun are these?

  • People who when they eat leave food all over their faces. So disgusting!
  • Clowns. I'm not afraid of them I just don't like them. Anytime I see one, I want to punch them in the face!
  • Socks left on the bedroom floor.
  • Drivers who talk on cell phones AND smoke at the same time. I mean, come on! Isn't the cell phone dangerous enough?
  • Dirty dishes in the sink. I have a hard time going to sleep when my kitchen is dirty!
  • Missing caps from pens. If one is missing and not to be found I have to throw the pen away!
  • Bubbles left over in the sink from washing hands/dishes.
  • Soap scum that dribbles down from the dispenser.
  • Crumbs left in the butter dish. Yuck!

Wednesday Craft Update

Finally finished the gray scarf! I made the edges tighter so that they would have a bit of a wave. All of the sections have a different count of row as well, so it definitely makes it unique! Hmmm.... I might have to put this in the "keep" pile. This is the next scarf that I started on today. Only got a small amount done as Fritz came-a-calling for food stuff. Not sure exactly want I am going to do with the pattern yet. I have been wanting to do a scarf all in the single crochet line. More time consuming for me as it is (so simple) yet quite foreign for me.
I did finally bust out the beads and made three necklaces this past week. I don't have the patience for very intricate bead work (I use to, but lost the book on the how-tos and can't remember anything fancy) so they are pretty simple, but still fun and relaxing for me to do.
This one below is lime green small beads and triangle and square green beads mixed in with brown wooden cylinders.

This one was inspired from Valentines Day past. I guess I still had romance on the brain?

This is just a plain two rowed lime green bead. One row is solid and the other is mixed with longer beads.

I am actually working on an art piece at the moment as well with my "special" mixed media. Shhh.... it's a secret, can't tell.

Naked Toes

Even though there was snow on the ground this morning, you can just feel it. Feel the warmth slowly creeping in moving closer to days above 40 degrees. With that feeling, off comes the shoes, off comes the socks, and what are we left with? Ahhh... naked toes and feet.

So where, do you ask, does the picture above of Boo come in? Well, besides Boo always trying to find the sunny spots for his catnaps, this time of year is also for one of his favorite pastimes. As my naked feet are exposed, Boo has a tendency to sneak up on me and give kitty kisses to my toes! Well, rather he licks them. Sounds gross but actually it tickles more than anything. I guess it his way of saying he loves me!

Sundays with Fritz-The Case of the Yucky Carrots

Hi all! It's another addition of Sundays with Fritz, that's me! Today we are talking about carrots and their yuckiness! Yep, I think my expression below says it all!

When Mommy was first letting me eat solid baby foods, of course we had to try all different kinds to see what my likes/dislikes are. She hasn't found much that I don't like! Give me some fruit any day man, and I am a HAPPY camper! Love me the fruit! And yeah, I guess I like the veggies too, they ain't too bad. I do get an idea of what I am in for when Mommy opens up the container, and if she makes that funny face at what is coming to my mouth I get a little suspicious. Especially with Peas, yuck!!! They smell soooo gross. I can't believe that Mommy makes me eat something that she herself will not eat (she hates peas with a passion), but actually I don't mind them that bad.
----------------
But.... Carrots are a different story! OK, OK, I will admit I have been known to eat them from time to time but honestly they are not my fave or anything. Usually Mommy has to strip me down to my diapy if she plans on giving me the carrots as I have a tendency to put up a fight when I smell that orange goo coming my way. I kick... I stomp my foot... I try to whack the spoon out of the way... I even turn my head (yeah, that one doesn't work at all 'cause then I just get more crap on my face). Now I have noticed that my Mommy loves carrots. She likes them plain, with ranch, or her favorite way with peanut butter spread on them (yeah, sounds gross huh? Then again I don't really know what peanut butter is or what it tastes like). So I guess she thinks that I must like them too since she does. I don't want to disappoint her so I just go along with it and shut my mouth-well I guess opening it would work better but not as much fun!
----------------
As you can see in the picture below (if it is clear enough for y'alls computers) I had successfully gotten a couple of spoonfuls of the stinky, yucky carrot goo all over me! Mommy sure had fun cleaning me up afterword. Yep, she even told me she did!!

See ya next week folks! Fritz signing off...

One, In the Words

I have an addiction. At times I believe it is a little out of control, but ohhhh... so good for me.

I love books...
------------
The way a new book smells or the quietness of a small used book store. I love any and all books. I haven't counted all of my collection for a couple of years as I think I would be too scared to know exactly how many I own, but I believe it is in the 200s?! See... an addiction.
------------
As I was reading yesterday I stopped and had a curious thought. Of all the books in the world no one is reading the same word, the same sentence that I am reading at that moment past. Yes, the possibility of a different person reading the same book as me is quite likely, however not at the same chapter or paragraph (not counting read-alouds in book groups). How interesting I thought. Reading any book, it can take you to such wonderful places whether filled with light, sorrow, laughter or any emotion, but it's just you in that world. In that moment you are truly alone with those words filling the pages.

A Feast of Sweetness

A couple days ago, looking at some sad ugly brown bananas, I decided to make some bread with them. Getting out my supplies (Fritz helping out of course) I started to put together the makings for some delicious B-Bread. After a few of the ingredients went into the bowl I realized I didn't have enough flour to complete my task. Loading up Fritz in the car for a quick trip to the store across the street I knew we could still have some good smelling stuff coming from the oven in an hour.
--------------
When I walked into the store I spied a glorious color popping out and calling to me. AHHH... Strawberries! When I was pregnant with Fritz I rarely craved anything. Chinese food was occasional but I had so many food aversions during my entire pregnancy it was hard to eat really anything! I had two other cravings that were quite enormous. One was beer! I am not much of a drinker, a glass of wine here a beer there, but of course being with child this really wasn't an option. How funny to crave something that I normally don't eat/drink. I did succumb and treat myself to half a beer twice. Man it tasted soooo good. But the other thing I craved was, thanks to my friend Monica (who I worked with side by side for a couple of years) was Strawberries! She would bring in these perfect absolutely beautiful Strawberries and I would stare at her with drool running down my chin every time she would pop one in her mouth. Monica of course was so kind and would always take pity on me and hand over some of her treasure. After the first few I couldn't get enough! I think I must have ate well over a couple hundred towards the end of the pregnancy. After Fritz was born and Fall/Winter set in, I didn't have the craving anymore and out of season Strawberries are not that appetizing.
---------------
So as I am standing in the store to grab some flour I impulsively grab a box of some yummy goodness. I was so excited to eat these that even putting them in a drab old bowl would not do. I busted out one of my Grandmothers candy dishes to do the job. Somehow I think they tasted better this way! I also wanted to grab some Moet & Chandon that I have chilling in the fridge, but alas, still on cold medicine this probably would not have been a wise decision. Hopefully next time I grab some awesome fruit like this I will bust that bubbly out and have myself a real treat!

Wednesday Craft Update

Finished the skinny green scarf a day ago. It didn't take me long to do, but I was a bit under the weather this week so put off doing a lot of things to feel miserable and grumpy. This picture shows the color a little better and the scarf is REALLY long! But when you double it up around your neck it hangs to a nice length below the hip. The scarf below is one I stared (maybe) two years ago?? I only had about half of what you see in the picture done but ran out of the two gray colors to finish it. I acquired the grays a month or so ago and have just now gotten to it to finish it. It should be done by next week.
I am about half way done with my goal of 50 scarves for the festival coming up in September. I have so many more things that I want to do craft-wise but I need to focus on the things I plan to sell at the festival as I am sure the summer will be busy and go by way too fast (and here it isn't even Spring yet-but I want to get some jewelry done for the festival as well). Hopefully in the next couple of weeks (besides scarves) I can throw a few more art specific projects in the mix. We'll see!

The Monster Purr

Sunday morning, I awoke to a Fur Ball climbing on my head trying to reach the window above my pillows. In my delirious state I couldn't tell which cat it was. Usually Boo is the one to come and cuddle with me so I never once thought it would be Melba. Until I heard the Monster Purr. Melba rarely comes to visit/cuddle with me and when she does it is a really special time. She gets her motor running so loudly it blocks out all other noises. She stayed with me looking out the window for a good 20 minutes or more. She is not a lovey cat so I hated moving an inch in case I scared her off. But finally Fritz was crying to me to get up and feed him so my few treasured moments with my first "child" were over. This occurrence happens about once a year when Melba graces me with her presence in this form. I guess I have a long wait now until the next time.

Is it Here?

This morning I heard something strange coming from outside my bedroom window. What was this odd noise that has been silent for so many months? Carefully opening my eyes and ears to see if I was actually still in a dream state I wondered could this be true? Could this be what I am hearing? Birds chirping in the cool morning air! With excitement and a smile on my face I couldn't wait to get up to see the morning sun rising more in the sky. With the birds that have been vacant for so many months could this be a sign of the Spring to come? YES!
------------------
The outside air was cool and crisp, not cold and dreary of late. Wanting to hear the birds singing more and more I listened for awhile until I noticed all was quiet again. Oh darn. Oh well. They have gone back into hiding as the dark ugly clouds started rolling in for a winter storm on its way this afternoon.
------------------
I guess I will have to wait a few more days/weeks to have those beautiful spring mornings come alive.

Sundays with Fritz-The Case of the Luggage Heist (well, almost)

Hi y'all! Here I am again to tell a tale about my week!
----------------
When Daddy got home from his long week of work, I missed him sooooo much! I was so excited to see him that I couldn't even go to sleep that night thinking about all the things that I was going to tell him and all the things that I had planned for us to do! But alas, after a couple of hours of Mom and Dad trying to get me to go to sleep I finally gave in and went to dream land. The next day Dad and I played lots and Mom got things done around the house that she can't do while watching me. It was a good day but I kept noticing something that I didn't like seeing. It was a big black bag sitting next to the book shelf in the computer room. I have seen it before and have tried to talk to it to ask it what it is doing there (never responds, not nice!) but decided I had better things to do with my time. Ignoring it for a day I saw Daddy take some things out of it and got even more excited than when he comes home for work. Was he taking things out so he could stay and play with me all week?? I pondered this for quite awhile until just before bedtime I noticed that Dad was putting things back in the big black monster. What? Why? NOOOOOO! He was going to leave for work again, I just knew it! Well screw that! (oops, sorry another bad word-Mom is going to have to find some soap I guess.
----------------
So off I went army crawling all the way over to see if I could do something about this horrible situation. I didn't want Daddy to leave again so I thought maybe if I could hide his bag he wouldn't be able to leave! Yes! A perfect plan!
----------------
I crawled and crawled and launched myself off the tiny step leading down into the office area, tugging on the bag but it wouldn't budge one inch for me. I guess even if I had been able to move it where would I hide it? Besides, Daddy had his eye on me as he was working on the computer and I'm really not that sneaky yet. Give me a few years and we will see...
---------------
Dad started looking at me trying to reach his bag and told Mom that why doesn't he just take me with him this week to work! So he puts me in his bag to go with him. Oh Wow! This would be the best! I mean, I love my Mom but we are getting a bit sick of each other already spending all day long together and only having Daddy on the weekends. I wanted to go soooo badly, but Mom said something to Dad that I didn't catch and then Dad took me out of his bag. Oh well, maybe next time just me and Daddy can go somewhere special together.
---------------
'Till next time.....Fritz signing off.
---------------
P.S. Anybody know of a good pawn shop so when I am able to "dispose" of the bag next time I can get some cool cash??

Ahhh... How Sweet!

Yippee! Got my brand new very special mouse pad in the mail today! How cute is that?? Now every time I look at my desk, Fritz is looking up at me. Love it!

Nice Day for a Walk (sort-of)

The sun was shinning brightly, slowly melting the last fallen snow when I decided to step out onto the deck to see how cold it might be. In the shade of course, a little brisk, but with the sun on my face it wasn't too bad. Because it had been well below the 30s of late (during the day) and today was more promising, I thought it might be nice for Fritz to take in some warmth from the sun with me on a walk. Of course it was still a little too cold for a long walk, but a short one would be fun. So off we went! Fritz was bundled up tightly and his little nose only turned pink by the time we got home! I am very ready for the new season to begin so we can go on more and longer adventures together. Just the two of us.

Wednesday Craft Update

The above picture is the precious foot and hand print from my little boy when he was only a couple of months old. I had a different kit/frame that I had split up and given one of them to my mother. I wanted to do a complete set for both of us but the store where I got them was always out of the kit! They finally got a new shipment in and it is a different frame than the original ones I had purchased. I have to say I like the ones above better (sorry Mom you get the old ones!). This isn't much of a craft thing but I did make the backgrounds more interesting with adding an inky background to make the actual hand and foot print stand out more. Now I just have to hang it up on the wall!

------------------

I haven't finished the blanket from last weeks post (my attention span for longer projects like that is not so good). However, I did start a new scarf (pictured below). The picture does not do the color justice. It a much brighter spring green than the Easter egg/sea green in the picture. It will be a very long skinny double wrap around scarf with room leftover to hang below the hips. I love long skinny scarves like this for anytime during the year. I also make thicker warmer scarves for the winter months.

M.A.M. Intro

This is M.A.M. They are serious about their group. They do not like intruders or people gettin' in their business. They are a force to be reckoned with.

-----------

M. is for Melba Eugene (in the middle). She is the senior of the group at nine years of age. Although she has recently shed some serious pounds she is still the monster of the family. Any new people coming over to meet her, the first sentence out of their mouth is "Wow, that is a BIG cat". Melba is at a healthy weight at around 14 pounds although she is probably at 16 or 17 now. She is often called 'big fat paperweight' as she doesn't do much but lay around and beg for food. She was a farm cat originally and now her and the other two are all indoor cats. With her soft light green eyes and leopard spots on her tummy she is one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen.

-------------

A. is for Alfalfa a.k.a Alfie. With her black and white body she is the smallest and youngest. Alfie is a little over three years old (so still very much the kitten in the family). We got her at the local shelter (Bozeman, MT) as a nine week old kitten. My husband says that she "duped" us, as in, when we were looking at her she was crazy about us and didn't want us to ever let her down. After she came home with us that all changed. But slowly and with patience on both of our parts she is becoming more and more a lap/lovey cat.

-------------

M. is for Murphy a.k.a. Boo. Boo is another shelter cat (Boise, ID) who stole my heart the first time I saw him. When he was a kitten he would always try to sleep under my chin. Now at the age of seven he still manages to get his big fat orange body under there. Although he doesn't understand that he no longer fits! He is my cuddle bug, always trying to sleep curled up by my chest with my arms wrapped around him (very nice in the cold winter months), or talking to me when I see him telling me he wants a belly rubdown.

Secret Passion

I have a secret. Not many people, wait, make that no one knows. I would love to be a dancer. After watching a dancing program on TV tonight it brought back all those desires to shoot across a ballroom floor like a firecracker. Feel the heat and sweat and aching muscles of a fast Cha Cha or the simmering seduction of the Tango. Even the slow romantic Waltz with a silvery long skirt swirling around my moving legs. I would love to be able to take lessons in any of these. Test my strength and my bodies limits. Maybe someday I will do this and sign my name up to learn something new, something I have always wanted to do and become. But for now it will just be my little secret.

Sundays with Fritz-The Case of the Bad Ducky

Hi there. It's Fritz again. How you all doing? My week wasn't too bad. Slept, ate, pooped and played. Not too bad huh? Yep, I know you all are jealous that I don't have to do the nine to five thing. So anyways on to the story. One night when Mom was watching me take my bath she gave me a few toys to play with. I never had them with me in the tub before so I wasn't really sure what to do with them. Of course I had to stick them in my mouth first to test them out and see if they would meet my approval. Mom gave me a red monkey that scoops water in its belly and lets you dump it out. That one is probably my fave right now, but then Mom gave me the Ducky. Maybe I should say the Ducky from Hell! (oops bad word for me, huh?) I was curious about the yellow little thing with its soft eyes looking at me. I tried to grab it multiple times but it would always swim away from me. Stinking little yellow thing. It wasn't being very nice to me, so I decided maybe if I leaned down a bit further I could catch it and give it a good talking to. Show him who's boss, ya know? So I'm leaning down almost reaching it..... Finally touching it.... Pushing on its head.... What the crap?? The Ducky jumped down in the tub coming back up with full force and smacked me right on the mouth! This wasn't a nice kiss like Mom and Dad give me, it was a little on the mean side. So I try again, and the Ducky did it again!! He is sooo mean and I don't know if I want to play with him ever again, but Mom gave me a smile and laughed and told me it was ok. I guess I will have to believe her but I got my eye out on that little yellow demon.

See ya next time... Fritz signing off.

P.S. Stay away from the orange nose, that's the worst part!

Alone at the Movie

Yesterday (the day after my B-day) I decided it would be fun to head to the mall and do a little light shopping and to go to a movie, BY MYSELF!! Since my husband has been away during the week and only home on Saturday and Sunday, I haven't been by myself to do anything special since....?? Been to long if you can't remember! But yes, I did it. I went to a chic-flick movie and loved every minute of it. Proud of myself.
---------------------------
As I am typing this it is on our very brand new (only 3 hours since it was set-up) keyboard and flat screen monitor. My old keyboard would skip letters even if I hit the key. Very frustrating. The monitor is so much larger compared to my old big box one that I am having a hard time focusing as there is just too much more to see! The picture below is the new and improved computer desk. Love it!

Correction

It is now reported that 5 buildings were either destroyed completely or damaged severely. Still no word yet on casualties.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It snowed all day yesterday stopping only for awhile during the early morning hours, then picking up again for people headed off to work. But this snow was gorgeous! It was the thick, wet, heavy snow that sticks to anything that it touches. The above picture is the tree above our house and although the picture does not show the real beauty I couldn't help but snap one. It seems to always snow on my Birthday.

--------------------------

Also, and sadly, there was a natural gas explosion in our downtown destroying one complete building and damaging two others. The blast was so powerful it threw a car parked in front of the building destroyed to the middle of the street. Luckily (they believe as it is still too early to tell) there were no casualties. Now our beautiful downtown will sadly have a missing hole for awhile. I am just glad that nobody was injured.

---------------------------

As far as my Birthday celebrations?? Who knows? I am thinking I will go get my hair done (haven't had that since May of last year) and I thought I might go to a movie by myself at the theater. I have never gone by myself and have always wanted to. I have eaten at a restaurant alone but have never had enough courage to sit in a dark theater to watch a movie. Hmmm.. I am thinking a chic-flick sounds nice!

Wednesday Craft Update

I have been crocheting for nearly ten years (although I do not do crochet very extravagantly) and have always enjoyed making simple scarves and blankets for friends and family. During the past holidays I thought to myself, why not try to sell some? Every year in a neighboring town they have a festival in September. It is very cheap to "buy" a booth and set up shop to sell pretty much anything you want to sell. So I decided that I would try to do that this year. I plan to have at least 50 scarves and around 5 blankets. Doesn't sound like a lot, but this is small town Montana we are talking about.
-----------------------
Above is a picture of a baby blanket, non-gender specific, that I have been working on. I wanted to use multiple colors that could go with a lot of different nursery themes. The yarn is so incredibly soft that any baby would love to cuddle with it. And I hope to have it done by this time next week!

Special Surprise

I was awakened from a nap (yes, middle of the day-Fritz was up a lot the night before) from a man phoning me to get directions to my house. He told me why he needed to find my house, but in my sleepy daze I didn't quite understand. A few minutes later he arrived with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. For me! My wonderful cousin sent them to me for my Birthday (a few days early...good job cuz). I was so excited to have fresh flowers arrive for me I could hardly contain myself from jumping with joy! Isn't it always a treat to have such an awesome surprise? I am off to smell the blooms before bed. Goodnight!

A Pavement to Follow

I was thinking today how lovely it would be to find a different road that I have not traveled on and to follow it. Where would it lead? Would I drive straight through or find the nook and crannies and turn to those? A little adventure would be pleasing. My husband has been in a different town for work for the past five weeks, only coming home on the weekends, so just me and Fritz and our three cats are keeping me company. Yes, I have been a bit lonely, so why would I want to take a road trip by myself? Even though I have had limited adult interaction of late, feeling the freedom of solitude on the open road with me, my car and a bit of music is sounding very appealing.
---------------------
Before I had a family I would do this impromptu drive whenever the mood struck. I worked nights for almost two years in a previous job so on my days off (roommates asleep) there wouldn't be much for me to do. Grabbing a coffee and my keys I would be off at two or three in the morning, never adventuring very far but always lost in my thoughts. The city would be silent, houses dark, an occasional vehicle passing me. Oh, how I loved to have nowhere to go! Following no specific destination just going where my hands on the wheel took me.

Sundays with Fritz-The Case of the Missing Binky

Hi there! My name is ***** a.k.a. Fritz. My mom decided it was time for me to start this blogging thing... Not too sure what a blog is but oh well! I will do as I am told (ha ha.. that's what SHE thinks anyway).
-------------------
I had a pretty good week, but I need to get something off my rather small chest. I don't get what the prob is when my mom starts to freak out about my binkies. I mean, there are always hundreds of them sitting in their designated "B" bowel. (note picture below)

So what do you ask is the problem? Somehow they always disappear! If I don't get to have one after my food, let me tell you, it ain't a good thing. I have to have one, it's my fix, ya know? So why does Mom have to freak out so much when she doesn't have one on hand? I can wait(kinda). I will just cry at her until she gets one. Not such a big deal, right? I especially like to have one placed gently in my mouth right before bedtime. It's the best! Me and my binky have the best time together when we are ready to hit slumber land (um.. not the store-I can't drive yet, sheesh!). So as Mom and Dad were putting me to bed last night-Dad was holding me-every thing was in place. Had my blue blanket to snuggle with-check. Had a fresh diapy-check. Favorite binky-check, you wait... What?!?! Where the heck was it!!! Mom says something about seeing it pop out of my mouth and Dad says he has no clue where it went to. It was pretty funny watching Mom looking under the blanket, all over the floor, in the crib and it was nowhere to be found! Mom kept staring at Dad and his cool orange shirt (it's one of my fave's on him-I like the bright colors, man) when suddenly she starts laughing and pointing at Daddy. Now by this time I am confused and getting a little perturbed that they haven't just given me a replacement one already when Mom reaches inside of Dad's shirt and pulls out my Binky! Dad was just trying to hide it from me I guess. All was well after that.

Until next time... Fritz signing off.

P.S. I still haven't told Mom that I chucked one of the binkies under the couch!
